Had the chance to hang with some great old friends, and a couple of new ones, last week in coastal Oregon. 

Pretty much heaven.

Trevally Tuesday - El Paskador Super Tanker

New personal GT record for me this past week, while working on a Giant Trevally project with Dr. Andy Danylchuk @fishmission on Christmas Island. Dr. Danylchuk and his team did some ground breaking scientific research these past two weeks. If you look you'll notice the "tracking tag" on this monster GT's tail that was developed by @fishmission . We were able to follow this fish for hours, and recover the tag after it released. With some luck we will protect these great game fish, and Andy will develop the "Best Practices for Catch and Release Fishing". This GT was 129cm in length. Well-Worn Wading Boots on Christmas Island

On my recent trip to Christmas Island someone told me a story about Moana's wading boots that had seaweed growing out of the tongue because they never dried.
