Fishing in Utah: $865M
When access to thousands of miles of rivers and streams was stripped from the public and handed over to private interests in 2010, what was the price tag? FREE. Valuable recreation infrastructure was given away.

USAC can't rely on large corporate grants - they are a 501(c)4, not 501(c)3 - so donations to USAC are not tax deductible. USAC generates funds based on their members, and based on individuals, bit by bit. The USAC is a 100% volunteer grassroots organization (READ: every dollar goes towards the fight). Their attorneys are working pro bono.
If you can't make the Rally on February 11, send them a few bucks (what does a dozen flies cost? You can afford it).
DONATE HERE - We just went in for a hundred.
No access, no future generations of anglers, no flyfishers, no boaters, and no jobs. The public’s lawful access to nearly half of Utah’s rivers and streams was lost in 2010. How do you build an industry if the infrastructure isn’t there?
Outdoor Industry, send your concerns to Governor Gary Herbert. Tell him that you SUPPORT HB37.
Bad laws are created, passed around, and set the precedent for other states. Could your home state go the way of Colorado, Wyoming and Utah?
YES, IT COULD HAPPEN.
After the recent Supreme Court Decision favoring access in Montana, let’s put another nail in the coffin of the privatization of public resources.
Contact the office of Governor Gary Herbert – Tell him that you SUPPORT HB37.
The Utah Legislative Session begins on January 27th and the Utah Stream Access Coalition is bringing their compromise legislation to the Capitol in the form of HB37. Can USAC and their 3,300+ members restore the constitutional right access to 3,200 miles of river to the public? They’re going to give it all they’ve got but they can really use your help.
IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE 400,000 UTAH FISHING LICENSE HOLDERS:
Contact your legislators and the Governor, he's the one pictured above fly fishing on the Green...go figure.
Attend the RALLY February 11th @ 9:45 am.
IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF UTAH -
Contact the office of Governor, his chief legal counsel, his senior environmental advisor and tell them to SUPPORT HB37!

This issue effects all the recreational users of Utah's public waters and could set a bad precedent for other access fights throughout the country.
