This film chronicles a year on the road with Pete McDonald and Tosh Brown while they were shooting photos and gathering content for their new coffee table book, The Blitz, Fly Fishing The Atlantic Migration.
Disclaimer: this entire production was shot on a cheap-ass camcorder that fits in a shirt pocket. It ate about 50 pounds of AA batteries during this odyssey and died of saltwater sickness about two weeks after their last shoot.
Order a copy of The Blitz - $5 per copy is going select groups that are fighting to restore and sustain striped bass.
Can't wait to get my copy.
Joining McDonald and Brown in this collaboration are celebrated East Coast photographers, Dave Skok, Brian Horsley, Sarah Gardner, Jim Levison, Matt Boutet, Sam Talarico, Barry and Cathy Beck, and others.
If you’re partial to crashing surf, panicked baitfish, diving birds, and busting fish, this book is the perfect complement to your fly-fishing collection.
