Kyle and Goose have been spending some time this summer on the Sheep Creek near Grande Cache, Alberta. Lookin like it's been time well spent.
Chum reader Timbre Pringle was out fishing on the Bow River this past Sunday. The fishing was slow until she tossed a pink marabou leach on and caught this Bull Trout. All kinds of good this is indeed.

Whilst fishing for cutts, Riley Egan spotted a few of these. A well placed cast with some big fur named "the wrecking ball" landed him in good SOTM company.
The Obama administration won't defend the Bush administration's cuts to habitat protections for the threatened bull trout, whose need for cold, clean water can stand in the way of logging and mining on national forests.
