1. Why isn't Dr Benke on this panel? Foremost authority on fish.
2. Seeing a writer for TU use the rainbows in the Snake as a example of needing to bonk fish totally misses the point. The SF of the Snake River problem is a issue with Idaho Fish and Game. They need to pull the trigger and decide what to do instead of suggesting people kill rainbows. Either make it mandatory and enforce it, or let it go to hell to the cutts. With the laker problem in Yellowstone lake, you'd think Fish and Game could figure this out.
3. Taking 2 for the table? Just watch those put and take steelheaders in the NW and they are flat out greedy. Spend some time in Alaska with all the Bubba's. It's just plan greed. No repsect for the opportunity. Maybe my kids will be lucky enough to fish for a bunch of fucking planters to take home to the plate at the cost of wild chrome.

I'll cook or smoke every planter brat I wander across, but stopped killing natives several years ago. Released a 16" sea run cutty last weekend. Biggest I had ever caught on the coast of Oregon. I hope that guy gets a chance to spread his genes and that some one else gets the joy of shaking his hand with a 3 wt.

Too little gun dude, a 3wt? Overplaying a fish on "light" tackle is as bad as gut hooking the poor bugger. Sumpthin' like that sea run cutty deserves a 5-6 wt.............
