Dow sponsored Walleye Fest to donate contaminated fish to the poor

Dow chemical sponsors a Walleye Fest on two rivers they polluted with dioxins. Bonus Chum: organizers of the festival say they plan to donate contaminated walleye fillets to the local food bank. LINK

It's Miller Time: April Slab of the Month Winner

Craig Miller breaks the April slab of the month drought with this 48 inch southwest Virginia musky.

Sweet mother of God - April was a feverish here at Chum headquarters.  It rained slabs.  And, our decision was tough as hell.   In the end, Miller prevailed with this beast.  Craig - your copy of Hustle and Fish is on the way.

Fish eats fish eats fly

Our carinvore post a week or so ago spurred international competition.  This one came from the Kola Peninsula from Chummist Patrick Dean. 

Salmon parr takes Kola Klunge fly, brown trout takes parr, guide takes all.
