Two British fly fishermen killed in helicopter accident in Russian Arctic 

Some sad news coming out of Russia.

The anglers, both believed to be in their late 60s, were killed in the crash along with their local guide at a tourist camp on the Rynda river about 90 miles east of Murmansk, on the Kola Peninsula.

We're long time fans of Ryan Peterson's The Big Pull here at the Chum.  And, his daily chirp on the Ponoi River does nothing to diminish his stock with us for sure - must read ramblings here.

Fish eats fish eats fly

Our carinvore post a week or so ago spurred international competition.  This one came from the Kola Peninsula from Chummist Patrick Dean. 

Salmon parr takes Kola Klunge fly, brown trout takes parr, guide takes all.
