Mola Mola on the fly

About 4 or 5 casts in I put the fly just in front on the fish and to our surprise the line went taught. We laughed and not much happened - excitement turned to guilt. More at Born to Fly Fish

ling, he mentioned putting the fly directly in front of the fish as it swam by, I think that might be a contributing factor as to why it ended up in the fishes mouth.
Thats the third time I've heard of one being taken on artificials... Nothing new here. They eat jellyfish and plankton like mad thats how they get that size.
Freaking crazy to hook up with one of those.........largest of the bony fish.......the mighty, mighty mola........or sunfish for you disbelievers. incredible catch for just playing around. Guilt schmilt......nice fish caught fair......way to go guys!!
I put the beer right in front of the girl from Rock Springs and somehow it ended up in her mouth.. go figure.
