The crazy thing is that talking to rangers out there you get the sense that this sort of idiot behavior isn't rare. I can't recall how many times I've seen rangers setting up safety cone perimeters around something as simple as elk to keep visitors from getting between cows and calves. Ridiculous.
How fucking stupid. It's amazing that they made it to the park.

You could see that animal was agitated from the very first site of it on film. How could those people not tell he was pissed? Everything about his stance was aggressive.

The bull does seem agitated from the start, as I tend to be when obese people approach me like I'm some sort of spectacle. The buffalo then seems to edge a little passed the agitated state to down right pissed off around the 50-second mark, as I tend to get when fat people start throwing stuff. I hope her insurance claim was denied and her party is banned from the park..
Wish it had killed her. They tell you when you go into the park not to go near the buffalo let alone run after it. People in todays world dont realize what nature and the beings in it can do to us. Respect Nature people!

Train Wreck has it right! When you throw stuff at a buffalo they tend to show you that you are stupid by charging! THAT point should have been in the "news report."
I see this in Rocky Mtn Natl Park all the time, tourists seem to think they are in a Zoo with fences and sleepy animals. Oh how i wish we could cull our own population.

I thought this was going to happen to me in Yellowstone...but not because of anything we were doing wrong. My brother and I were fishing about 30 yards from the road on the Firehole when we happened to notice cars backing up behind us. Looking down the road there were 3 bison walking on the road, heading for the cars behind us . As they got closer to the cars though, people started getting out to take pictures, and at least one car honked. That spooked them down the hill towards where we were in the river, and my brother and I thought we were done. Luckily they got to the river edge and turned up stream, staying on the grass. Definitely as close to one of those jokers as I ever want to be.

The funny thing is she called it. In the video she says something about getting malled by the bison. What a dumb shit. Ha ha fucking ha!!!
