If you thought the proposed pipeline to divert billions of gallons of water from Wyoming and Utah to Colorado’s Front Range was the only threat facing the Green River, think again.
Utah’s chief water rights official has just approved an application to divert 53,600 acre-feet of water from the Green River to cool a proposed nuclear power plant.

Victoria river turns bright green - Updated with Video

Stoppin' at the log where catfish bite,
Walkin' along the river road at night,
Barefoot girl dancin' in the moonlight.
Turns out somebody dumped a bunch of Fluorescein, a non-toxic chemical usually used to trace leaks from septic tanks and water systems, into the river and a nearby fountain.
