Victoria river turns bright green - Updated with Video

Stoppin' at the log where catfish bite,
Walkin' along the river road at night,
Barefoot girl dancin' in the moonlight.

Turns out somebody dumped a bunch of Fluorescein, a non-toxic chemical usually used to trace leaks from septic tanks and water systems, into the river and a nearby fountain.

I keep a mtn dew bottle of the stuff in the truck for just such an emergency.
It phyto degrades after a few hours (sunlight breaks it down).
