Bull Trout - A species at-risk

Bull trout are a federally threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. Trapper Creek is a tributary to Odell Lake in Oregon. It is an important spawning and rearing habitat for Bull Trout. A recent restoration project has helped increase the spawning and rearing habitat after it was negatively affected by the building of a railroad. Annually, a nighttime snorkel survey is conducted to count juvenile Bull Trout.
