This crap is getting annoying!! If you drive a car or a big suv with your 9th grader fishing stickers all over it, then you are the problem!!! You are the reason for Keystone. You are the reason for Deepwater Horizon and you are the reason we are fighting wars in the middle east!!! If you heat you cool fishing shack with public utilities, you are the reason for fracking, you are the reason for coal mines!!!! These companies don't do these things because they're fun, they do them because they can make money OFF OF YOU. Tell you what, you get your house off the grid, start riding a bike as your primary source of transportation, stop traveling to enjoy your HOBBIES, then start spreading the word that the evil oil companies are making you really mad!!!! My guess is you'll remain a complete hypocrit with the smell of gasoline on your hands when you load up the truck to hit the river!!!
Well said Fish On. I find it amuzing to say the least. I really like Moldy Chum, but these frequent anti fossil fuel snippets are posted by someone with obvious sub par cognitive reasoning. Like you said in your post, if people really are fed up with the way we use energy in this country, then they need to 1) find a better solution and 2) lead by example. It never ceases to amaze me how people in general love to bitch and moan about something that they all use every day. If you don't like pizza, then don't eat it. If you don't like fossil fuel based energy, then don't use it. It's that simple. In the meantime, the rest of us will continue to do so in the safest, most economical ways possible while supporting those who provide this stuff for us to use. Imagine how much different your life would be if you couldn't use gasoline. Say what you will about using electric cars, windpower, solar, etc. If these really were viable means of energy, then why has the trillions Obama and he's cronies put into it yielded nothing but bankrupt green companies? Do some homework people before you come to a public forum with feeble suggestions and douchebaggery.
