June SOTM Entry: Lady Luck Brown

From the inbox:

Chum-

Meet my girlfriend Jen (we call her lady Luck) with a beauty of a 28.5 inch brown caught on top with a foam tan chernobyl ant.  She caught this pig during a stonefly hatch last week on the lower Bow River in Alberta, Canada.

I was stunned when it hit the rubber net, my friends were stunned when we showed off the pic. "Slab", said one. "Indeed", said another.  I hope you can accept this entry in slab of the month.

Be well,

Jay Jones (the Humblefisherman)

Anyone who signs their email (The Humblefisherman) is a tard. Wouldn't it be more humble to take no photos and video?

Hmmm

This lovely and lucky lady has my SOTM vote FOR SURE! Epic fish, great photo, and the fact that you got that DONKEY on the surface makes it that much sweeter! Congrats and something tells me you'll be in the running for Slab Of The Year with this pig..... Fly Fishing needs more women in the sport and especially pretty women that know how to take a 28" Salmo off the surface.

RAD, EPIC, AND MORE RAD....

So sick! Congrats Jen! What's up with all the hating on a such a wonderful picture of a gorgeous women and fish. Some of you dude's really need to get your head checked. Seriously you have issues that will not be rectified by fly fishing! Go get some help!

I've seen many men who would crumble to catch a fish like this in their lifetime. Spectacular brownerd young lady! Regards to the captain as well. Fish like this don't come to the boat unless you're doing something right. I'd imagine all the penis envy is coming from some bald dude who has no life! That's just a guess, but pretty sure he shaves his Johnson and has never caught a 28" brown on top!

I am no prodigy, prophet or even professional. However, I've been on this planet & fished enough to know that if you have to be jealous & hateful to & about a beautiful young lady who genuinely caught, smiled & released an exceptinal specimen that we all would be happy to have had the opportunity to have held, you are pathetic, weak & should fight toddlers for a living. I'm old and have fished a lot and freely admit to being jealous of this fish! Great fish Jen. Welcome to the sport. You should be very proud of your catch & release!

Hey J,
You are an asshat and everyone knows who you are! A dislike here, a snide remark there, and more hate and envy than one could ever imagine. Get over yourself, you are a pathetic person who took up guiding cause you couldn't ride anymore. Seriously dude spend your energy on something positive and the world will be a better place! The Humble Fisherman is just as he professes, because he chooses to profess his sport through video and photography does not make him any less of a person. Obviously you enjoy looking at this type of stuff or you wouldn't be on this site trolling for victims. To Humble and Jen, May all this negativity bring you closer to the water and to more pigs! Jen I'd vote for this fish over and over. Also if you're this lucky we need to fish.

Jen and Jay,
Congrats on an amazing Bow River Trutta. Would love to have seen this in person. Maybe this summer! The smile says it all! Congrats. You got my vote!
