Honestly, how many of these types of films are going to be forced down our gullet. Yeah, this one at least broke free from the canned, stock soundtrack. Good for them. But c'mon. It's the same old slow motion, "wish you could be me but you're not" photography. So why would i pay good money to see that rubbed in my face? (in slow motion to Wilco?) What's the story behind the film? From the description on Amazon--there isn't one. Just two brothers taking a year off to go fishing. Unless the movie offers something the preview doesn't, i'll skip the Amazon order, thank you.

hi,
i understand where you are coming from. i really tried to step out of the norm when making this film. i didn't have any sponsors or product placement, i didn't use royalty free music (which can get stale), i didn't include tons of dialogue saying how epic i think fishing is, rather i attempted to let the footage do the talking. it is also noteworthy that my brother and i didn't take a year off to fish; we made this film while holding down jobs like 'normal' anglers.

sorry i couldn't meet your expectations. i hope there are people out there who enjoy what i'm doing. regardless i hope everyone is having a great time fly fishing.
