This video must be old. That guy was using a single hand rod for sea-run fish, and it didn't even have an indicator.

That guy had that fish 2 ft from the bank and was still giving it the wood straight up and down gheez I think the cork was starting to seperate.. He lost two fish that way.. Little side pressure goes a ong way.. long handle net would aswell.

great video but I was thinking the same thing about landing those fish. rod tip downstream and towards shore!!
