Hey, get the F off my land

Ever get into a disput with the grumpy farmer over trespassing and right to river wading access?  Well, like many, Amber and Brendan did. And they wrote about it here

Just remember kids, not every State, County or Province shares a similar law regarding water rights. In some areas, the stream may be partially or wholly owned by the landowner and even as an angler who loves good fishing, in those instances I can't see trespassing on private land or water just because the fishing IS that good. Luckily, in this case the anglers were legal and right about their ability to fish the water there. Just remember, it's not the same everywhere. Know the laws where you fish and if you don't like them - don't break them....work to change them!

I know these cats and are glad justice was rightfully served.
They did know their rights for fishing that stream and had already researched it out before entering. Which was why in this case, the land owner was completely wrong and deserved to lose. He had no grounds to deny access to water.

There are few cases of homestead property in Canada and his was not one of them. If you research your waters and understand where you have the right to fish then you will have no problem. Guys like this are just miserable and get a kick out of harrasing people.

Hey Mr. Owl. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
