WOW...you guys are brutal!!!! I have this rod rack for steelheading and love using it for Spey rods so I don't have to break down a 14' rod each time I leave the river. It is also great to use when you are wade fishing and you don't have to reak down your rod each time you stop......the down side is that these suction cups don't work as well as they say they do and when you tighten down the top wing nut there is a plastic washer that has broke on mine four times. I called the manufacture and he sent me new ones, but I pulled it out to use steelheading for the first time this year and they broke again!!!!! GET THE MAGNET ONES INSTEAD

if I was a guide or I fished more moving around throught the day by car I'd buy it.
