2010 Pyramid Lake $50,000 Cutthroat Challenge

Feeling lucky? One tagged fish was caught last year although it was not one of the 10K tags.

Entries are being accepted for the Pyramid Lake $50,000 Cutthroat Challenge, scheduled Oct. 2 - 3 at Pyramid Lake. Twenty five trout will be tagged, with five fish being randomly tagged and worth $10,000 each.

It's 65 bucks to enter and limited to 500 anglers.  LINK

Break out the banjo minnows (available at white trash mart....uh I mean wal mart for $9.95, limit 10 per customer) and don't forget to buy the satellite TV adapter so's you can watch the firecracker 400 nascar race, the WWF smackdown, the big truck n tractor pull n demolition derby and the UFC fighting in the octagon of death in your drift boat while you wait to catch the money.

Who the hell would want to catch a cutthroat? I wouldn't even fish in that tournament if I was paid $10,000 if I knew I was going to catch cutties. I mean really folks, what is cool about a cutthroat? You hook them, the roll like an alligator, and give up. Even big ones suck.
