I saw those two guys on a great lakes trib fishing for steelhead last weekend. They ever chased the pinners away!!
Awesome stuff. Clears a run of other fisherman faster than any other technique I've seen.

funny, so is it fair to say when i see someone casting very poorly, they are now a shadow caster?

i've had clients ask me about the shadow cast and if it really works. dead serious. usually asked right after "which direction is downstream?' hard not to tell them what you really think...
