Is this another pellet fed bow from the jones propert on the blue river, which is prive unless above 500cfs? If it is these fish are mutant dog food fead fish, that don't fish worth a shat. I have been there I should know. Fish from this streatch of river should not be able to participate in the slab of the month contest. A nocive angler could do this there, the fish are really dumb. If this fish is from another river props to him, but that spot looks very familiar.

You know, when I used to float the Jone's Ranch, I'd collect up my gerbil's droppings and I'd toss them in the water to chum up some of those hogs....yeee haw!
Jealous much? Pellet fed or not, you still have to put the right thing in front of it's face, get it to eat it, fight it, and land it. I fail to see how that's any less a fish than any other SOTM entry.
FTR, I've fished that section countless times in the past 15 years, and have had good days and bad days. Hell, I've had goose eggs on that stretch in what should have been perfect water and weather. Other guys that are far better sticks than I have done the same thing.

Furthermore, to address your statement of them being mutant stupids; well, that's pretty hilarious. Were that the case, we should be seeing nothing but pictures of gigantic trout every time someone fishes it; we don't. We don't because it is a very select few fish that have the genetics to get big, even fewer make it that far. Big fish are rare, regardless of where they come from.

its free to float that stretch of water. the only thing fat walllets catch are cougars. haters should be limited to those who have won sotm. 12 people a year can hate. that's it
I'm not hating, just wanted to let the word out that its a pellet feed fish thats all.
