The River Why....The Play

The Book It Repertory Theater in Seattle is putting on David James Duncan's The River Why. Opening night is February 12th at the Center House Theater in Seattle Center.

In contrast to the making of the movie of The River Why, David James Duncan has approved of and given his blessing to this adaptation of his novel into a work for the stage. Book-It Repertory Theatre in Seattle transforms novels for the stage in a style that keeps the author's words - even using the narrative as part of the action. See it Feb 9 - Mar 7.
