I was amazed when I saw a guy catch a huge catfish with a rubber worm, cat on a fly...wow... did you catch him on purpose? Do you use stink flies or what? This is very interesting.........

I have caught catfish on crawdad patterns bass fishing before...very impressed with the size of the dip he has in and the fish.

Size alone would make you think Blue, but from my understanding the lake is known to only have Channels and this is not a one of a kind on these waters; I have caught a few of this caliber, all on deep congo clousers. The ranch has got a spring fed creek on it that I have had smaller channels take foam hoppers in the summer, it is an unbelievable ranch...and this spring the guys at Tailwaters in Dallas are going to arrange some overnight flyfishing clinics on the property...XXX Ranch outside of Genrose.

Channel kitty kat.. I used to chase dogfish at a power plant discharge on saginaw bay with decievers and would pick up a huge mix of "junk" fish.. you aint lived until you catch a bowfin on the fly BABY!!

Hey Seth! Nice feline. Its Adam from Dragonfly Angerls in Crested Butte(I noticed the hat in the pic). We fished the Gunnison together this summer. Great to see your getting your brownline on down there in Texas. Check out this Moldy Chum link of my cat from this past may.

Looks like a channel cat to me. Note the round edged anal fin rather than flat edge of a blue cat.
