Lani Waller “A Steelheader’s Way” Audiobook

The Native Fish Society and Lani Waller have produced an audiobook version of Lani’s classic book “A Steelheader’s Way”.

Bonefish Folley’s Last Boat Ride 

West End, Bahamas - Israel “Bonefish Folley” Rolle, one of The Bahamas most well known fishing legends of the 20th Century was laid to rest on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in West End, Grand Bahama Island.

But before Bonefish Folley was laid to rest that morning, his sons, Simon, Thomas and Carl Rolle came up with the idea to have a flotilla follow behind the boat carrying the casket of the legendary fisherman.

RIP Bonefish Folley

Born Israel Rolle, Bonefish Folley was a local celebrity in West End, Grand Bahama, where for more than 60 years he delighted in taking his clients on bonefish tours. Considered the master in his field, he appeared on numerous television shows and documentaries and has been featured by National Geographic.

I've caught Steelhead up to 34 pounds on a skating fly and up to 23 pounds on a dry fly. My life I would say has been good.

Salmon fly tyer and steelhead guru Harry Lamire recently passed away after a brief illness.
