The Mocean Armor FourPro Dive Housing

The FourPro iPhone underwater housing was field tested by Emmy winning National Geographic cameraman Ken Corben while filming great white sharks.

The Mocean Armor FourPro dive housing will allow anyone with an iPhone 4 or 4s to capture incredible footage that would otherwise be economically out of reach for this quality of HD video underwater. The alternatives to capture HD video at any depth below a kitchen sink run thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. You can achieve the same results Hollywood spends millions to produce in the palm of your hand.

A Kickstarter donation of $400 secures one of the underwater housings for yourself, the actual MSRP will be $700.

Picture the Leviathan

Hal Cliiford and Jason Houston have fired up a Kickstarter campaign to fund finishing the production of their film following James Prosek's quest to see the Atlantic's most important fish, and paint them from life. The campaign is on until 12/31 and has already achieved it's $4,000 funding goal.

A description of the campaign.

Too many environmental documentaries follow a predictable pattern: they chronicle a problem, they make us feel guilty, they tell us to “care” or “get involved.” They are (what can we say?) depressing and disempowering.

Picture the Leviathan takes a different, Trojan horse approach. This is a film about an environmental issue, but it won’t directly discuss that issue. Leviathan tells the story of an artist and his process. We don't tell the audience what to think or what to do. We let the art, and the charisma of the artist, lead the audience to their own conclusions.

The artist is James Prosek.
