Keystone: Bad Beer, Bought and Paid For Science

Sam Snyder has the latest in the ongoing Keystone saga.

I know it raised a lot of hackles with the Boulder Fly Casters thought to host the Keystone Center. They caught some flack, and frankly for good reason. In this debate there is no compromise. And, no matter the potential good intentions of Keystone, they are being played as pawns in this debate.

Recent instances and admissions make it clear that Keystone is a willing particpant in said shenanigans by the Pebble Parthership to confuse the public and try to greenwash their terrible project. In case you missed it, Keystone kicked Dr. Dan Schindler, one of the leading experts on Bristol Bay salmon, off of their supposed 'independant' science panels.

Sam wiil be attending all the Keystone science panels and calling bullshit when he sees it. If you care to be a part of the festivities 360 North will be live streaming all the proceedings.

Don’t Trust Pebble’s Hired Science

The Keystone Center, remember those guys?

Well Keystone will be convening their "group of experts" in Anchorage next week to review the Pebble studies. Our Bristol Bay lays out  surrounding Keystone and why their paid for by Pebble process should not be trusted.

Rick Halford explains EPA vs. Keystone in this radio ad.

This battle is also now playing out in the D.C. political media with dueling ads running every week. Here is the latest Northern Dynasty shareholder ad from The Hill, a congressional newspaper that publishes daily when Congress is in session.

When a mining partnership, having already spent hundreds of millions of dollars to advance its proposed mine, hires a consultant to conduct an “independent scientific review,” there is reason to be skeptical.
