Fishing is big business in Natrona County.
In 2012, out-of-state residents bought nearly 20,000 fishing licenses in Natrona County, according to the Casper Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Outfitters such as the North Platte Lodge and the Wyoming Fly Fishing Guide Service annually conduct more than 1,000 guided tours down the river.
