River Monsters Season 5 Preview

Jeremy will be traveling to Nicaragua searching for a killer torpedo, New England and the Pacific Northwest for vampires of the deep, and the abandoned areas of the Ukraine for an atomic assassin. It all leads up to the season finale where Jeremy tackles one of the world's great water legends ever.

In addition to being a well traveled angler, multiple sources who have crossed Mr. Wade's path on location say he is also a world class dick.

Dean Ween and Les Claypool to Film Pilot for Fishing Show

Dean Ween (a.k.a. Mickey Melchiondo) the ex-guitarist of the band Ween and lifelong Jersey Shore fisherman is prepping to shoot a pilot for a quirky TV series about saltwater angling. He's going to embark on nautical adventures with fellow musician and fisherman Les Claypool of Primus.

Produced by "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the series will fuse sportfishing with music and comedy, following Melchiondo and Claypool as they go out on the water with celebrity guests in different locales, including the Garden State.

Weather Channel greenlights “Reel Rivals”

Oh joy.

The Weather Channel announced today that it has greenlit “Reel Rivals."

“Reel Rivals” follows the larger-than-life charter boat captains who try to fulfill the dreams of their clients to catch the largest and most fish out there, sometimes battling extreme weather conditions such as tropical squalls, high winds, huge waves, and blistering heat.

Reel Rivals” features 6x 30-minute episodes and will premiere in May 2013.
