Thai One On : Full Film

Deep in the pristine jungle of northern Thailand lies the River of Reflection. Named for its crystal clear water, the river is home to the legendary Mahseer. A species first prized by British anglers in the days of the Raj for its phenomenal fight. Documentary filmmaker Travis Lowe follows three anglers as they work with local Karen villagers to protect the entire 60km length of the river.

Reading the Signs on the Kettle

I created a little extra content for the Okanagan Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada's presentation of the F3T in my home town of Kelowna, BC. This is the reason I make fly fishing films, to affect change in the environs that I love. I am trying to help save the Kettle River. My river, is everyone's river.

First You Survive Bangkok – Then Comes The Jungle

Mark Hume reviews Travis Lowe's film Thai One On which debuted at the Fly Fishing Film Tour launch in Denver a few days ago.

Travis Lowe’s new film, Thai One On, isn’t like any fly fishing trip you’ve ever been on before. Unless, that is, taking part in ritual sacrifices, eating giant cockroaches and riding elephants into the seething jungle are part of your normal angling experience.
