Cheeky Fly Fishing and 3-TAND Collaborate to Develop 550 Pliers

At five and half inches and equipped with replaceable HSS cutters and stainless steel tips, the lightweight Cheeky 550 Pliers are equally at home in the salt or your local trout stream.

Development and testing of the new pliers was initiated in July 2013 in a unique and collaborative approach between Cheeky and 3-Tand, both New England based fly fishing companies.

Got that March Madness fever?

Sixty-four fish have been matched up in a bracket, but only one will be crowned champion! 

Since 2011, Cheeky Fly Fishing has hosted the ultimate tournament of sport fish to benefit Casting for Recovery and the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust. 

Submit your bracket along with a $5 donation and vote on the web for the fish you would like to target the most in each respective matchup. Just as in March Madness, the fish that wins each matchup advances to the next round. The participants with the most accurate brackets will receive awesome fly fishing prizes, including fly rods and reels, bags, flies, artwork, apparel, sunglasses, fishing gear (and, of course, bragging rights).

Cheeky Schoolie Tournament

Join Cheeky in welcoming the hard working schoolie stripers to their summer vacation home. The Cheeky Schoolie Tournament is a low barrier to entry, grassroots tournament designed to encourage the interest and growth of saltwater fly fishing.  True grassroots style – no engines, paddles or flippers. This is a fun, competitive tournament open to all skill levels.

When: Saturday, May 18th, 2013

Where: The shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Anglers: Limited to the first 25 two-person teams, so submit your team ASAP

Cheeky Reels, Swag and cash prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.  There will also be captain's bags for each angler with over $25 in gear, and a raffle put on by our sponsors: Patagonia, Montana Fly Company, Fishpond, Howler Brothers, Mud Dug Saltwater Flies, Free Fly, Vedavoo and High Hook Wines.
