Celebrate Leap Day at the Fly Fishing Film Tour in Gig Harbor

The Gig Harbor Fly Shop is hosting the 2012 edition of the Fly Fishing Film Tour tomorrow night at the Galaxy Theater in Gig Harbor. They'll have 7 Seas on tap and lots of great raffle items. Tickets are $12 in advance at the Gig Harbor Fly Shop and $15 online or at the door. This is the thrird year the shop has hosted the tour with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Wild Steelhead Coalition. So if you missed the tour stop in Seattle here's your chance to see a great line up fly films, drink some fine craft suds and support a worthy cause.

Seattle Stop 2012 Fly Fishing Film Tour

The Seattle edition of the 2012 Fly Fishing Film Tour played to a sold out house last night at the Uptown Theater. As always, great to see our tour friends who are laying over another night at Rathbun's before heading to their next stop in Spokane. We'll throw up some thoughts about this year's film line up at a later date, right now just happy to be home with my liver intact.

TU sponsors 2012 Fly Fishing Film Tour

Trout Unlimited announced today that it will sponsor the 2012 edition of the Fly Fishing Film Tour.

“This is a good partnership,” said Chris Keig of the Fly Fishing Film Tour. “We believe that our audience truly believes in conservation and this partnership will allow them to get out and help save and protect their home waters through their local TU chapters and conservation groups.  If we can help deliver TU’s message to our audience of filmgoers, we’ll not only help TU, but we’ll help fly fishing in general.”
