I love the way a big rainbow attacks a fresh pellet. Nothing quite like it! I'll usually, throw a size 14 pellet fly, then i'll move to a size 16 (which usually does the trick). Sometimes a size 18 pellet will get them but the MASSIVE bows that key-in-on pellets require a more stout hook. Some may call me a purist, but I'm not a purist, I'll take trout on any size pellet pattern.
