I like this review & for the most part agree with their assessments. It was particularly true regarding the performance of the Hardy 1 pc ProAxis VS. The 4 -piece. The 1pc is AWESOME and the 4pc is a dog. Thoughtful and mostly unbiased... Good insight

While I appreciate the time and effort to make these "shootouts" happen, the fact that performance on grass trumps actual performance on the water makes me question the validity of such "findings." Also the consistent appreciation for the TFO BVK is quite laughable. To rate, so highly, a rod that breaks (even though the warranty may be great) when the wind blows, makes me have to further disregard the assessments as biased and wholly unsound.
