Belly Rollin' Reds

Looking back through some footage and didn't even realize I had caught this, anyone help me out, is this guy upside down coming out of the water?? I've seen trout do this on a river but never a redfish, typical behavior?? Anyone?

Yep. It's not exactly something we see every day, but you will see it from time to time - they go a little crazy when the bait is thick (nothing better than seeing one do that on a topwater)

I see it all the time on the water when the fish are happy . Reds will roll, turn upside down and do some amazing things to geat at shrimp, bait, crabs on the edges. It's is fun and magical to watch and still makes me smile every time I see it.

So cool guys, thanks so much for the comments. It was amazing I almost missed this. I was going through footage for another project and there it was. These Reds in Charleston continue to amaze me every day.

Like Travis said its great to see them rolling around but the real fun is watching them come out of the water for top water especially when the reds are over 30 pounds. They are killing the top water in louisiana!
