5th Season Treason

For those of us in the know, there's an extremely special time of year for fly fisherman in the mountains. It resides somewhere between the dog days of winter and the muddy shoes of spring, and is unofficially known as 5th season. During this time of year it's not uncommon for it to dump 12'' of snow at the resorts overnight, resulting in some pretty epic powder conditions on the mountain. To the casual observer, it could be considered down right treasonous not take advantage of the great ski conditions, given the limited number of good days left in the season. However, if you're just stupid enough to ignore what the better side of you're conscious is trying to tell you, and decide to go fishing instead, the rewards can be...... well, just see for yourself.

“Whenever a man does a thoroughly stupid thing, it is always from the noblest of motives.”
― Oscar Wilde

Great little video. With Fishing like that in the winter I think the bugless season would become my favorite time of year. Thanks.
