So disagree! I say Andros holds it own any day of the week. And for sheer numbers there is no comparison. There are guides on Andros that are big fish hunters. Big Charlie, Andy Smith, Benry Smith, Shaun Leadon. Those guys I guarantee with the right client put consistent double digits in the boats all year.

I disagree with the video totally and the comment above. The "nutrients" coming from lake Okeechobee are being polluted by the sugar cane farmers. Islamorada does host many, many fish over 20 pounds though- I'm twelve years old and grew up In upper Matecumbe, I see the fish almost everyday. Andros does have many large fish, and many more large fish are bagged there, and the reason because of that is because Florida Bay bones are smarter, and much larger.

I have not yet fished Andros so can not comment on any comparison. But having fished the middle Keys more than 200 days over the past 20 years I can say there are truly massive bonefish, all with PHD's in how to screw with fly fisherman!

They are a remarkable fish indeed!
