what is happening in washington farms....what will be the effects south thru oregon and nor cal...are there isa and other diseases present already.....time to step up fishermen, guides, outfitters, shop owners, locals on the water everyday........department of the wild salmon is in our hands..............................where are the comments and concerns from you, the loyal chumists? lets rally and give these fish, this resource, this gift from nature a fighting chance.............i have the klamath in my back yard, literally, and the fish are sick too...and dam removal wont fix a disease..time for us to do our own research and speak out...im going to check in with my riverkeeper and local fish survey companies to see what the have noticed...............finding out where your farmed fish in the local grocery store comes from is a great idea, and then educate your neighbors about the potential genocide of wild fish....as the steve miller band sang "time keeps on slippin, slippin slippin, into the future" thank you alex morton for spearheading the movement

I new something was missing in the declining fish number equation. Dams have been on the rives for close to a century or more, logging has been going on for even longer, fish hatcheries have been putting out genetically poor stock generation after generation, commercial fishing has been declining throughout out the decades. Now I watch this and I'm stunned, If dams, logging and commercial fishing, and hatcheries were not enough. Now we are attacking them in there home waters with giant net pens designed like tea bags of disease steeping in the currents as wild and hatchery fish swim by. To make it worse, agencies paid for with tax dollars are working with the polluters to do there level best to kill off the publics natural resource salmon, stealhead, and who knows how many other important creatures through the loss of the salmon for tax revenue and fees.

So much misinformation in this video.
Check out http://salmonconfidential.com/about/
If you don't like the idea of farms, so be it, but the inaccuracies, logical leaps and outright BS in this film need to be questioned.
