what is it about CO. leave the river alone first the blue then the Platte, now the ark. would you people please stop friggin up my rivers!!!!!! i mean seriously, that guy from Iowa who couldnt catch any fish in the blue got the permits in place and spearheaded the effort to channelize the blue. which F"ed it up. then they went to the platte and put in fish enhancements in the spots that already held fish ruined some excellent spots, then stocked it super heavy and called it a success. now some one on the ark doesnt want to fish with the sun in their eyes. next itll be the gunnison is to deep to wade lets reduce flow and get more access

This project should be used to make the Jersey turnpike look better or turn a rundown Detroit factory into a mural of a natural area. Make the ugly stuff look better, don't mess up a natural beauty.

Normally, draping a gigantic trash bag over a river would be considered littering and it would be subject to substantial fines; but when an "artist" does it, it's an "edgy" act of expression, subject to substantial compensation.

When I was a kid, Christo draped a small island in Biscayne Bay with pink plastic wrap. The art world went nuts for it. Even as a young child, I remember thinking it was the stupidest crock of shit I had ever seen.

This is even stupider.

Fucking humans.
