I'd like to see someone make a decent lightweight vest with room for lunch, a jacket, and water bladder. Where do you put your lunch and water in this thing? This would be useful if you lived on the river and fished an hour at a time.
Here is a hint for gear manufacturers. Make a light and packable vest to fit in your backpack. Make it roomy enough to carry food, water, and gear for a comfortable full day from your remote camp. I currently have to carry both a fishing vest and a day pack in my main pack.
Psh! Capitalistic crap! More shit you don't need-buy a shirt with two pockets large enough (Cloudveil had the perfect shirt) to hold one small fly box. a spools of tippet, a camera and a snack bar-stick a water bottle in your waist, skip lunch and your'e good for the day. Go light, fish hard and while Im at it, unless you're on a tail water, go kiwi style and forego the waders too!
