This is the most self grandizing film I think I've ever watched. A pioneer in the industry as seen through the eyes of some d.b. that "knew" him & dick teased him the last few years of his life. You take a 90 something year old man to Bermuda where he may have spent the most romantic days of his life with his wife & you get mad at him for his "innapropriate" behahavior? Shame on you Kathy! It certainly didn't surprise me to see that you included all of the "flattering" things he said about you when he was pitching woo. Unbelievable, way to be the going away winner of "the most vain person of the month".

Invasive? Didn't look like they were holding a gun to his head. I agree that this woman comes off as snotty and pretentious and I never liked her show...but from where I'm sitting it looks like they had a great friendship. And those of you that commented about his kids....those were his kids in the video dip$shits and they openly spoke about how much they cared for her. As far as including all the flattering stuff he said about her...I get it, but it got to be a little too much. Honestly, I think it could have ended at the 15 minute mark and I would have gone away thinking it was a cool video...the rest was irrelevant.

In conclusion, there was no need to post any of this footage. It is not enjoyable to watch, you tore this man's heart out. Your "friendship" was merely based on you wanting to get ahead by befriending a legend of the industry. And a great way to finish - tainting this man's reputation by humiliating him in front of the internet. If it makes you feel any better, he probably died because of your stunts. Rest assured ASF dinners will be nice and awkward for YOU in the future.

I agree with these posts. I just watched the video and after the first few minutes, it started sounding strange to me. And after the first few words out of Stans mouth, i knew he liked/fell in love with her. I feel she did have an agenda instead of just having a fishing buddy. The clips she used appears as though she wanted to start a relationship with him. Holding hands and the affection. Was really strange and creepy. Stuff like..."i've made this trip so many times before...and now I feel this is my last time and i have to say goodbye..." wtf? She made me relive some of my old breakups. was like I wasn't watching a fishing video. He may be a pioneer in the world of fishing, but he's just a man like the rest of us and wouldn't mind jumping on a blondie. She knew it. I think she's hot, but she's a weirdo. Bet you she got one or some of his reels though. her last visit she's wearing that nice outfit..probably tried to get a few more reels out of him
