Gold and fancy wood and more snobbery, My motto is if it costs too much the average fly fisherman will pay it. High price equipment doesn't cover for inability, Don't get me wrong, I have a Helios, but I would Rather cast my Redington 8wt super sport. I learned the hard way, I spent way too much before I formed my own opinion, I should have saved that money for gas, plane tickets, and Tying supplies, and the occasional strip club visit.

...yeah that's what this sport needs, more outrageously priced items made by "experts".
I concur with the fat guy... save yer money 'n treat yerself to a 3 day, 'cause the fish don't give a rats ass what you got in yer hand.

This cheap crap simply doesn't cut it for me. my rod is made from Unicorn Ivory and my reel from solid rocking horse shit. Christ knows who is so strapped for cash they would have to shell out on this junk. I would rather use a handline than be subject to such humiliation.

people who buy these are them same ones who spend $15k on HRE rims and rubber, they dont care about money as it needs to be "burned"/spent so they not have to pay taxes on it...wish i had that much cash lol

Diamondsp on the reel butt? Why not have spinners on the reel and go full ghetto bling bling. Is this the Snoop Dog Edition? What utter crap.

you are all obviously of the 99.9 percent who a jealous that you cannot afford the finest in fly fishing snobbery. You, Redington toting, working class river rats are always complaining, instead of working hard so that someday you will be one of the haves instead of the have nots. So why dont you get your lazy asses off the rives, quit wasting your time fishing, get a second job, and start investing in the speculative banking and the oil industry, so that some day, you too might own one of these fine reel seats!

who cares? you are all idiots for not taking the money from the idiots who buy this shit. notice how they aren't marketing too you? your broke ass can't afford it. embrace it, make some money off those suckers and go fishing instead of spending your weekend blogging about...?

fishing isnt, hasn't, and never will be about having fancy gear and diamond reel seats. People who buy this kind of thing are just trying to make up for their inability to catch fish. fishing is about having fun and catching fish. no one cares about how you look on the river or how you blew 700 pounds on a reel seat. I see way to many people nowadays concerned with their attire and how they look, when they don't even use quality hooks or line, things that make a real difference in catching a fish. its a shame
