This is one of the toughest calls in SOTY history. Between that Montana brown and the permit I just can't choose. Both fish of a lifetime. Both great, just different, like a blonde and a brunette. Yeesh, I might have to flip a coin.
I agree with Yikes. However, im still blown away that the OP steelhead did not make the win in the votes. Its an image I couldnt get out of my head since i first saw it. IF that was up there i would know which one i would be voting. but- haters gona hate.
Either way ALL these fish are true "trash can lids"
