I'd give my left nut to be there with him! Simply an amazing man. If you don't know who Lee Wulff is (meaning you're too young), look him up; especially if you're upset about the "beat down". I promise, his accomplishments will blow your mind.
Wow
... i wonder how many of today's FF "filmmakers" have bothered to get their pilots licenses?
Wulff was an innovator for the mid '40s to be sure... but it came from that Fran Buck attitude of the time. Fly Fishing could use a few more innovators.
His journal about flying and fishing is one of the best books I have ever read. Life well lived.
Almost as impressive as Lee himself, is the fact his 10 year old son was able to film all of that footage. Great captures on rising fish and tail walking salmon.
if you know the problem deerhawk...get the fuck off of your fucking ass and do it...or SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!! Stop being a whiny little bitch and fucking do something, f to the a to the g.
This is totally photoshopped.
Dude totally destroyed the entire Newfoundland fishery. Should have kept it a secret and never made this film.
This guy thought he was too cool for school because he got himself a pilot's license.
This guy is a DB.
This guy is totally using wanker equipment.
This guy's music selections totally sucked.
This should come to North America in the distant future.
This guy thinks it is all about him.
To the two negative nancy's. What's the matter? Your balls drop off or something?
I can't wait for deerhawk to innovate. Sounds like you know exactly just what to do deerhawk. Go innovate!!
Until then, stop posting. When you get back, then you can post.
PS - complaining isn't innovative.
Loved it thanks for the post. Explanation of why ocean going fish fight hard captures it better than biology.
