I always thought John Gierach and Tom Waits were actually the same person...
The "Graphite Samurai" is fishing with a bamboo rod in the clip. Graphite Samurai??? Go look at an Orvis catalog and talk about tight lines with your friends, or something.
Gierach is not the "Graphite Samurai"- his beard is too gray and tame (relatively speaking).
Perhaps you need to relax and get your shit right before slagging others.
