Wow, they realy have a set of balls. First they take my money for a magazine subscription I never received. Then they promised me a dvd that I never received and now they want money to film a show. Get a real job like the rest of us. What a bunch of $%#@.
So let me get this straight—Joe Daniels and cohorts can’t find the funding or sponsorships to support the type of program that is (in their words) “. . . traditionally been considered niche audience productions, too small to be commercially viable on the tube.” . . . Translation: “the series flopped, we had a total of 12 viewers all season, now we can’t find sponsors, so we’ve resorting to panhandling because our egos won’t quit.”
Seriously? You want people to pony up money to fund your lifestyle? You can spin the pitch however you want, but that’s basically what it comes down to. If you can’t attract legitimate sponsors that believe in your project(s), you really think holding out your tin cup is the answer?
Isn’t this the same reason Wild on the Fly magazine failed? No one cares to read about the likes of a self-serving goat like Daniels, so why would anyone want to watch him on TV. . . Let alone shell out $$$ to help him do it???
