Rick and Sam’s Excellent Adventure

Between Eugene and Bend there is a copius amount of bank fishing opportunities. Rick and Sam have hatched a plan to fish as much of that water in one day as possible with the goal of being featured on The Caddis Fly: Oregon Fly Fishing Blog.

The Plan:

All in just one day, July 27, 2011, our intrepid party shall attempt to catch a trout in 10 separate rivers/creeks on the fly, while traveling from Eugene to Bend and back again. We shall catch and release trout from the McKenzie River, Blue River, Metolius River, Deschutes River, Fall River, Crescent Creek, Odell Creek, Salt Creek, North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River, and finally the Middle Fork of the Willamette River.

But wait, there’s more.
