The Boa Closure Spool

Been using them for a couple months now with no lock ups or tomfoolery of any kind. Two frozen thumbs up!

BOA tech has been around for several years. On snowboard boots BOA tends to break a lot sooner than conventional laces. BOA is only now being introduced to fishing, but is fading away in the snowboard industry because of one simple fact: a good pair of laces outlast, and do not break as easily as the BOA system.
Love the BOA!! The new ones are even faster. Never had any breakage or trouble.
They locked up on me in New York but it was about 10 degrees out....after fishing i had to jump in the tub at the lodge and get them warmed up......made for a good picture.
