BULLS ON TOP from SHALLOW WATER EXPEDITIONS on Vimeo.
Some "fish Porn" from the 2011 redfishing season in Louisiana. When things were right the Big 'Bull" reds were eating on the top!

Unbelievable footage.
Tell me again why the majority of fly fisherman would choose to fish dry flies to dink ass trout instead of this?
Some sweet takes. Charge like a red bull
Nice work David!!!
Hmmm....i thought the gulf was full of nasty, crude oil that was never going to be cleaned up and life as we know it there ceased to exist? Rumor has it the fishing there actually improved post spill. Something organic had to feed on the oil, and those somethings were fed on by shrimp, and those shrimp were fed on by gamefish. And those same fish are bigger and healthier than they've ever been. And for those interested, do some research on the Ixtoc spill down in Campeche, Mexico. The guides down there still talk about how good the shrimping was for years afterward. Sweet video by the way. I wonder what they put in those outboard motors to make them go zoom? Same stuff that spilled out there. MC is a great site, but a little more common sense is in order when posting rants about the way gas and oil is extracted. What do you think your boat, laptop, fly lines, waders, trailer tires, ipod, etc all have in common? They're all made with some form of petroleum based product. You guys are smarter than all this. C'mon man!!
Awesome footage here. Thanks for posting. If I ever get a chance to visit the US, this is going to be on my must do list.
Redfish Ron, I took your suggestions and poured several thousand barrels of crude in my nearby stream to help increase the size of the resident trout. Looking forward to hitting it up in the spring. Bought a new 11wt since the brookies are going to be massive.
Queequeg! just think of what that magic oil would do to the salmon and steelhead populations!!!!
75lb steelhead!!! 120lb salmon!! count me in!
You guys are funny. Seriously stop. I'm not advocating anything like that, just stating some facts about what the media made such a huge deal over. Everyone uses the stuff every single day, but a lot of us are quick to point out how bad it is and what a demon oil is. The gulf accident was a tragedy, and 11 guys died because of it. My point is, MC should spend more time posting stuff about fish, and less about the nonsensical side of the cold, hard facts. It's a great website that I enjoy reading. However, what I wrote is just an opinion. Nothing more. The sooner people start to use their heads, the better off we'll all be.
