so fat
Ahhh, the In-fishermen pose - arms outstretched so to make a small fish look huge. Looks like one of the those pelletheads the PA boat and commission dumps into the Erie's streams ever spring for the hillbillies to fight over
That's a chubby fish. Good one!
go eerie! nice work
Sorry we cant all fish for wild skeena steelhead or mt brown trout. We make due with what we have and that is a massive erie brown trout. Dr Honeydew get over your internet muscles and contribute something worthwhile. Ive been to Erie many times and never seen a brown that big. Great fish bro
That is one fat fish! Nice.
that's a stocker
Dr. Honeydew. Small fish? That thing is 8 lbs. at least, even if it was behind him in the photo. Is the only honorable photo one where the side of the fish is pressed against the chest of the angler? Give the guy credit, he landed an 8 lb. trout on a nymph.
Yes they're all stockers in Lake Erie, but they were stocked at least 3 years ago and this fish is far beyond what the state was hoping for in stocking browns to diversify the fishery. This year has provided a good handful of big browns, but I haven't seen any slabs this big.
Congrats!
Looks like it is well fed on a raw sewage diet. Note the disproportional size of the fish. Definitely a fish from a shit pit. Prob a stocker too.
Have to love the haters ,the fish they catch I'm sure are the same size as their balls (small).
