Even with a mid-fight gear malfunction, Matt Heart managed to land this Port O' Connor Jack.

Nice Jack, were you fishing with a POC guide? Looks like you were in the bay?
JG - I'm actually the person taking the picture and wrangled that fish on the boat. That's me and Matt's boat and we weren't fishing with a guide - we are do it ourselvers in POC. The area we were in exploded with big jacks, it was like a scene out of a National Geographic show. It was raining bowling balls - huge splashes everywhere. We were bayside. The rod blank separated from inside the cork and the drag wouldn't tighten down, but he landed it.
